Every discipline develops its own language. The Intent Commerce Framework is built on a small set of concepts that describe how commerce evolves through intentions, interactions and alignment. This Dictionary defines those concepts. Together, they form the shared vocabulary of Intent Commerce.
Interactions
The exchange of Commercial Signals that enriches Representations and strengthens Alignment.
In the Intent Commerce Framework, Interactions are the moments during which Commerce Domains exchange, interpret and respond to Commercial Signals.
Interactions are not limited to conversations. They include every action or observation that contributes to a better understanding of the commercial situation.
Each Interaction has the potential to generate new Commercial Signals, enrich existing Representations and influence future Interactions.
Interactions are the driving force of the Framework.
They continuously transform the commercial situation by revealing new information, reducing uncertainty and creating opportunities for stronger Alignment.
Without Interactions, Representations remain incomplete and Alignment cannot progress.
A buyer is looking for a bicycle but only expresses a budget.
The seller cannot yet recommend the most suitable option because an important Commercial Signal is missing: how the bicycle will be used.
Through an Interaction, the seller asks a simple question: "What kind of riding are you planning to do?"
The buyer explains that the bicycle is intended for long-distance gravel rides.
This new Commercial Signal enriches the seller's Representation of the situation, allowing a more relevant recommendation. At the same time, the buyer's Representation also evolves by discovering options that better match the original intention.
The Interaction has enriched the Representations of both Commerce Domains and increased their Alignment.
